Coach Katie

"I'm not strong for a girl. I'm just strong."

Katie is dedicated to helping women find strength from within, confidence that exudes daily, and to live meaningful lives that they truly love! Once she found her own strength and worth, it was clear that her purpose is to help other women find the same! She has a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Indiana University and is certified through ACE for personal training, FMS level 1, NSPA for nutrition coaching, and is a certified Pre- and Postnatal Coach through Girls Gone Strong.

Coach Branden

"Sustainable health habits."

My fitness knowledge and creativity are the result of ten years’ experience working at the highest level as a personal trainer, learning not just how to create amazing physical transformations, but also to help create sustainable health habits. These important habits allow those on my training programs not only to achieve their ideal body, but to also foster a healthy energy and vitality that makes any task in life easier to accomplish. Accreditation: M.S., NASM-CPT, NSCA-CSCS, FMS-1, NSPA-CSSA, CWPC, CPDS, CSNS, TFW Level 1& 2 Instructor, Boxing and Barbell Level 1 Instructor, Bioforce Conditioning Certified, TKD/HKD 5th Degree Black Belt, BJJ Purple Belt. 

Coach Bode

Director of Sport Performance Training, Bode is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and RYT-500 hour certified yoga teacher through the Baptiste Institute. He has a bachelor's  degree from the Boston Conservatory and master's degree from Indiana University in Voice and Opera and a Professional Cert. in Vocology. With a varied background in multidisciplinary movement and strong training in communication, Coach Bode strives to guide his athletes into deep understanding of their own physical being while teaching the "Why?" behind. He strives to educate his athletes to become discerning and autonomous so that they are able to keep themselves safe and high performing outside the gym walls. He empowers and uplifts his clients in order to help them show up as the most powerful versions of themselves for all the unique challenges of their lives.


Coach Ariel

Ariel is an ACSM certified personal trainer and ACE certified group fitness instructor. Ariel is currently continuing her education at Indiana University towards a B.A. in Fitness and Wellness. At Force, Ariel works in all programs, Group Training, Sports Performance, and Personal Training. Ariel enjoys creating a warm and welcoming environment for clients as they make progress towards their health and fitness goals.


Coach Emily

Emily is an NSCA-certified strength and conditioning coach who leads our early morning adult personal training sessions. She has a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from IU and is especially passionate about training for injury prevention and rehab. She coaches cross country and is an avid runner and cyclist, loving all things outdoors.

Coach Justin

Justin is a student at Indiana University Bloomington studying Fitness and Wellness. He is passionate about holistic health, movement, and the mind. In coaching, Justin seeks to empower each individual to not only achieve their goals, but to use fitness as a medium to live a larger life, to connect to their own journey inside fitness. Outside of coaching, he enjoys being outdoors, cooking, reading, and spending time with loved ones.

Coach Marissa

Hello, I am Marissa. I have been working here at force for about 2.5 years. I am originally from Evansville, In. I attended IU for Undergrad and have lived in Bloomington ever since. I love to stay busy so I constantly have something going between two jobs and activities with friends and family. In my spare time I love a good binge on Netflix/Hulu, cooking, drinking wine, a good workout and my self care Sundays. I love force because force is family, it's where everyone comes to be better/do better and if nothing else, they come to try!


Coach Nick

Nick is an NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist and has earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Nick's background comes from years of coaching experience including crossfit, sports performance, and personal training. The variety of clientele has helped him better understand how to help people achieve their desired fitness goals, work around injuries, and move more efficiently.


Coach Clay

I was an athlete all through high school participating in track and later in swimming. Since starting college I’ve focused more on powerlifting as well as general health and fitness. I'm majoring in exercise science with a minor in nutrition, in hopes of continuing my education to become a physical therapist while still working with strength and conditioning. My background in sports as well as my own fitness journey lead me to my passion of helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. I believe in creating small, sustainable changes in both exercise execution and your lifestyle to reach your full potential while avoiding injury, and enjoying the process.
